Holi festival(Festival of colors) is an spring event who is originally a Hindu custom Celebrating the predominance of light over darkness which inspired by an old Hindu story about Holika the sister of king Hiranyakashipu which the name of this event "Holi" , retrieved from this story and the name "Holika" ,the other purpus of this festival is to commemorate the good harvest and fertile land.
