Let's start with the most common way of transportation which is the public one , like express bus and metro which is The best way to get somewhere especially  in Bangkok , they are fast and cheap and reliable .

another way which has both good price and speed , like the public transportation is motorcycleTaxi  that in sunny days , would be a good choice 

aside  the normal taxi who is nice and reliable but more expensive than other ways of transportation , there is the famous TukTuk  Taxi which is cheaper than regular Taxi and  suitable for rainy days as well
