Dussehra Festival

Dussehra festival is one of the most important feasts in Hindu religion and people celebrate this event  yearly all over India


Vijayadashami or Dussehra also known as Navratri is an Hindu event who is inspired by Lord Rama's victory over the ten-headed demon king Ravana and the name Dussehra that literally means removal of ten refers to this legend.
Dusehra festival is the tenth day of the month of Ashwin in Hindu calendar and corresponds to September or October
This is an special day to offer food to gods and pray but if you are interested in Indian sculpturing style ,then  Dussehra festival would be a proper time to travel to India and visit the symbolic demon sculptures
